My SAT scores are out! I'm glad that I have those scores, but it'd better if they were higher. Gonna go for a retest... Darn, it's a 4 hour plus paper again...
I'm still finalising my invitation list... Those who I've sent out an email are confirmed. I'm contemplating over inviting a couple of people...
I need at least 610 for Critical Reading... ARGH! That's crazy! Ok... I'm regretting over the fact that I do not read... And less talking about speed reading!
Went to IKEA at Tampines on Wednesday with JC and Brian... To get a clothes hanger, the kind that stands (either on wheels or not), and you can hang your clothes on. Thought it was a good price... $9.90. Haha! Good deal! We even bought a rug, yes to step on! it's like the cleanest thing after your bathroom slippers. The floor in the bunk is you know the sec sch kind, grey, and ever-dirty... And the rug's only $1.50, just use and throw.
After that went over to Giant to grab some food, for hibernation! No! for keeping in case we get hungry chatting through the night. Of course, with an opportunity at the supermarket, we'll never go home without beer!
We then went to Old Airport Road for dinner, that was around 2200hrs. What's so special? I don't know. Some clown gave that idea, the other two monkeys blindly followed. Oh, did I mention I was the driver, a.k.a the monkey?
Shopping at IKEA is like heavenly! Ok, not really. But I thought our attire was skimpy. We were in t-shirts, army black shorts and bathroom slippers! haha... ok, maybe attire's the wrong description. Call it __________. Bathroom slippers = ordinary slippers that you wear to the toilet to bathe or wash up. Bathroom slippers. Ok fine, toilet slippers. Thing is, we drove, so we could get out of camp in such INappropriate attire.
Next day, I was the DOO, wa lao... Damn sian. And just as I was handing over my duty the next day, I was asked to stand in for half a day on Tuesday! FUCK! I just did my duty! There's like 100 others to ask, why ME? M - E, ME?! Ok, maybe not 100, but there's like 4-5 other officers to ask, why me? why why why why?
But I still agreed. Personal favour... You need to accumulate all these to trade for help in future. Fine then. But yucks, it sucks at the thought of it. DOO again!
Finally watched "Saving Private Ryan" the night before last. Thought it was thought provoking. Reflected on the soldering skills we're taught, have my reservations, but I shan't elaborate. Think it's a good movie. If you haven't watch, catch it. It's worth the time.
