I'm in the same platoon as Cheng Peng and Liang Cheng (NP), Chun Kiat (Pri sch.)... Gotta know the rest of the platoon mates during the two weeks... When we were leaving Tekong, the mood was as thought we already ORD-ed... haha...
My muscles are aching... Bad flu and bad cough... Running training, strength training and all... Took my IPPT (trial), got quite a good score... Silver for only 1 item, the rest all GOLD!!! haha.... Except that freaking chin-up... Expect me to do chin-up after sucking out all my energy and strength... haha...

I wash my own clothes everyday... Diao... And hey, they're clean... I know how to wash ok! And most of us are half-naked (top), because it's bloody warm...
The activities so far are shagging but OUTSTANDING!!! haha... Going back to Tekong on Sunday... Then tekan week starts... Shit... Guys, please act faster...

It's hello NS and goodbye NP! Oh gosh! How I miss school days...Had my graduation ceremony, or CONVOCATION, as some would call it on 12th June 2007. This day is indeed a day worth marking, because it spells the end of my diploma course. Woke up at 5.50am, the earliest ever since I moved to my current house... muahahaha... Got ready by 7am to be picked up. Reached Ngee Ann at about 7.30am, waited for around 10 minutes before ZK came... We went to Can 1 together and a couple of people were already there, having breakfast... We quickly tied our ties, surprisingly, alot of people DON'T KNOW HOW TO TIE A TIE!!! haha... and fled off for LT 68E, meeting place for PRIZE WINNERS!!! haha... In there we put on our gown, then I realised I needed the toilet!!! haha... So I attempted to 'pee' in that harry potter suit... muahaha... Terence (alpha) came in and was stunned by my 'obscene' action... Ok, seriously, it's not obscene, it's just abnormal! hahaha... Too lazy to take off the gown...Then proceeded up to Convention Centre about half an hour before the ceremony. Ok, seriously, the whole ceremony abit 'er...' haha... Mine lasted for about an hour and a half, imagine 534 people getting their certs... What's worse, we had to sing the national anthem, and obviously, nobody was singing... oh wells...Anyway, took a couple of photos and had a LONG chat with many lecturers, the deputy director of ECE division, Senior Director of SoE and of course the Principle! haha... I mean, a few of us, graduands, in the VIP lounge only, so it's kinda boring... Plus my friends are like outside, so I was so desperate to go out and meet them...Went for lunch, then movie (men in white), then dinner, and then drinks at Harbourfront... Seriously, the movie we watched, it's kinda of like ________. The situation's like this, we slept for at least 10 mins, so you can think about the standard of the movie... Dinner was at Sakura, not bad... haha... Then went drinking at Harry's at Harbourfront. The singer had a great voice, and we even dedicated to ourselves a song... haha... Great day I had, from 8am till 11.30pm!!! haha...Anyway, going into NS soon, I will be bringing in my phone, so you guys can contact me if there's a need... But I strongly encourage you guys to do so, so that I won't be lonely... Some people are glad, some people aren't over the fact that I'm going in tmr... Oh wells... Saturday (9 June):
Went out for dinner with my family just now, for a 3 reasons, but 4 people… Sisters’ birthdays, my graduation and Fathers’ Day… haha… Quite a heavy meal…
Traded a gathering with my german class for this dinner… I knew that there’s a dinner, but I had been thinking it’s gonna be on a Sunday, didn’t expect it to turn out today, so gotta let go the less important one… Sorry klassenkameraden..
Anyway, spent time ‘decorating’ my music room. Had a new bookrack that came in yesterday, and with a new home theatre player set, all seems to be perfect, almost actually; still lack of a sofa… haha… Packed my music books on one shelf, my CDs, my player and other miscellaneous stuff on 3 different other levels… Stuck my signature plastic grand piano ‘cut out’ on the rack… haha… I just need one sofa, and all will be complete… So that I can listen to music and ‘nua’… haha… Was rocking to the oldies while packing the room, haha… felt ‘high’ for no reason…
A couple of days left, and I’m leaving for Tekong. Life’s been not bad since graduation, much relaxed… Will get on with studying for SAT once I’m settled down into a unit, and naturally, I’ll continue my piano lessons.
Didn’t really have the mood to practice piano today, not sure why, but perhaps there’s a lack of that ‘thing’ to direct me… haha… Got the ‘high’ to go for concerts, but all seem to be boring…
Graduation Ceremony’s coming… Haha… Wonder why Mr. Ku calls it ‘convocation’… haha… Wrong term leh… Anyway, looking forward to it… haha… in that ‘harry potter’ gown… lol… Ed’s not enthu about his, not sure why… haha… WHY AH?!

Was intending to relax the whole day, BUT, my uncle came, so havoc for a little while… muahaha… Spent most of my time watching tee-wee… How unproductive…
How I wish that part of my memory doesn’t play back, so that I can look at certain things related to it in peace… The risk of liking someone you know is you’ll lose that person one day.
Wa wa wa... Damn good a dinner and night last night (Thursday)! haha... Met up with Edmund to buy some stuff and concert tix... Didn't manage to get the specs though... Channel 8's Extreme Makeover (i think), hosted by Kim Ng and Zhou Chor Meng was at AMK Hub, where I was supposed to meet Ed... That crazy guy wanted to go and disturb them... But I turned away like asap... haha... Went to Bugis to wait for them (Matt, Sihui, Van)... Was shopping at this CD shop at Shaw Tower... haha... So good, can try out the CDs for as long as we like... In the end, I bought this oldies CD and Edmund a jazz... Was eyeing at this Turkish Belly dance music, but er, no... haha... They were having this CD sale, so we were damn enthusiastic... haha... Cheapskates... But I enjoy that CD alot, bloody great songs inside... muahaha...Anyway, waited a little while because the steamboat 'restaurant' was damn packed. Settled down with half Ma La and half chicken broth. Ate and chatted for 3.5 hours... Gosh... Won't talk much about the dinner time though... But it was quite funny, lots of serious talking at the end, but didn't understand why Matthew thought I was talking rubbish... Oh, we were playing 'zhong ji mi ma', but the forfeit was some 'tell us the truth' thing... haha...Wanted to have dessert after dinner, but again have to wait, and it was a little into the night, so we thought we pop over to the pub opposite for a drink. Van, Ed and I got a full Pint each. Didn't really have much effect on me and Edmund, but it sure did on Vanessa... Oh, got a couple of photos...

Met up with Gwen, Wendy and Cynthia for lunch today... haha... Still as gossip as before... Lunch wasn't as long as dinner because Gwen had to rush off to teach... We hung around for a little while before we decided to seperate into our different ways... lol... Sounds tragic...
Went off to get some stuff before meeting Edmund (yes, again), to get our plastic specs done... My degree = *don't tell you*... =p
Went home after that, then realised I forgot to get my graduation gown from Edmund... haha... So went to find him (yes, again) in the evening, but he wasn't around, still I got my gown... haha... First thing I reached home was to try it out, GOSH! I look so like a Hogwart's Student... Damn!
Was listening to Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1, then remembered that Sergio Tiempo is coming over this Sep to play it... I was thinking maybe he should play something else...
The 07/08 Concert Season programme is a little too predictable and thus boring, I feel... When was the last time you saw Elgar's Pomp and Circumstances coming up in the programme? Yea, it maybe his 150th birth anniversary, but can't they do other works that are less popular? I mean, playing something for a concert is to share it with others, let others know more about it... What's the point of attending concerts when you can just get good recordings from the CD shops? What's new, Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2, surprisingly, got Dennis Lee to play... Brahms' 1st will also be played, but by Stephen Hough...
Other people turning up include Sarah Chang playing her famous Sibelius Violin Concerto... Why can't Gidon Kremer or Vadim Repin come instead? And also Simon Trpceski playing Rach 1.. Maybe, Singapore could present Beethoven's Triple Concerto? I mean, something interesting lah, maybe Bartok's Sonata for 2 piano and percussion too...
I'm hoping for someone to come and present Prokofiev's Piano Concertos... That'd be fun... Oh, Ravel's Concerto for Left Hand will be performed... Good... But it's on a Friday... Hope I can go... And I'd really love the pianist who could come and play Rach 4 and not make me sleep... lol...

I'm not sure what to write about actually, just doing it for the sake of keeping up with the habit. Went down to Hello shop to get a new phone for NS... Wanted N6021, but what I heard was it's obselete... *right....* Hence, I settled with N2626, the only phone in the whole bloody shop with a camera... And what's worse... I didn't get the colour I want... It comes in 3 colours, you see, pink, blue and copper... Naturally, blue's the one I was aiming for, but they've only got pink and copper left... And OBVIOUSLY, I wouldn't choose pink aye? So yea... Thought it was retro at first, but got contended later on... I mean, what else can I do? I've got a $120 voucher at Hello shop, and it's the only phone model left... Well, at least, I didn't have to pay for the phone... I even got another extra battery, but with that overshot the voucher amount...Suddenly remembered that I forgot to send in my last semester results... And the deadline's nearing... So who else in my course are going to NTU? Hah! The usual suspects! haha... Those you see on the COM list, yup, they'll be there... =)So we were like thinking, oh no, another 3 yrs together... haha...Pirates of the Carribean : Curse of the black pearl was screened on Channel 5 just now... One of my favourite movies so far, mainly because of the swordplay... Alright, it's my fantasy... I mean, look, it's bloody cool! And the way they dress is totally gorgeous! It's the only continuous movie that I keep up with... I hope there's gonna be a part 4, because I'm rather disappointed with the ending... Maybe this is how the 4th sequel should go, Jack Sparrow finds that place, and Will Turner breaks that curse so he can once again be reunited with Elizabeth. And most of all, the rise of the pirates... Yea, that'd cause the Carribean to be dangerous, but hey, a pirate can be nice person too, as long as he doesn't do harm... I mean, compare Sparrow, Barbosa and Jones... I'd say a little more of Sparrow wouldn't harm too much, haha...Heard that Leqi's coming back from Melbourne (she's studying there...) I guess she's home now... I'm quite surprised the contact between her and her close friends are there... I guess it really depends on one if one would like to stay in contact with others...Right, so I guess most of you are rather enthu about the gathering after grad day... hm... that's good... haha... know most of them for 5 semesters... and the rest 6! haha... it's gonna be a waste to just break off contact... haha... But why am i not surprised, black seems to be the most favourable colour among us... haha... When we finally met Jap, we decided to take Neo-prints... haha... Gosh, it was darn gay...
Imagine 5 guys in a neo print shop... Damn... What's wrong?! We spent some time there because it was crowded and we were rather embarrassed because we were the only guys without female company... =)
Decided to go to PS for a movie... Sadly, only 4 movies were screened today... *faint*... So we went to Cathay... A couple more movies, fortunately, but the timings were real bad... Gave up the idea of watching movie hence...
Changed movie plan to pool... Took a bus, got down at Convention Centre, decided to take a glimpse of where ZK got his cheap watch for NS... haha... Jap and Terence had Anderson's Ice cream... 4 bucks for a pathetically small cup... Oh, we met Stella on the way... haha...
Went over to Marina Square... Decided to play Bowling instead... haha... but it was so full, and the reserved list was rather long, according to Deren... So we popped over next door for pool... an hour later, went for dinner. wanted to go seoul garden, but jap said marina south... in shirt and jeans, so sweet... went to draw money, and passed by this 'Yuki Yaki' Restaurant... Decided to dine there... haha...
We made a mess out of it... Here's the cooking part...
We mixed all kinds of meat into the pan... Couldn't identify which was which... and all appeared brown... So we meddled with the food for a while, changed plates... Showed our talents in cooking... Had a good mixture of seasoning... chilli padi + sambal chilli + wasabi + whole small bowl of garlic + light sauce... stir fried all the meat, and ended up everything tasted the same... our mouths became so 'ma'... gulped down tons of beverage...
Oh... we ordered chicken soup, but it ended up as tom yam... when we asked the waiter to refill our soup, he couldn't tell what was it... haha... and he said it looked like tom yam! haha... the reason it became spicy: Jap wanted soup, so he got me to pour him some... I added like 2 spoonfuls of chilli padi, and poured in the soup, but i got caught by him, so he poured it back... Then the whole thing repeated itself, except Jap became Deren, and I became ZK... haha... then Zk went crazy, he poured the whole bowl of chilli padi into the soup, but fortunately terence scooped it up before it dissolved... haha... still, it was spicy... oh oh... meanwhile, too bored of cooking, we took some photos =)

Decided to have ice-cream, because we were too full... Deren went to arcade... thought he went to bomb... haha... Terence gave up because he said his stomach felt funny... Zk too... Ended up, Jap and i were eating beef! haha... we were dipping the beef in the hot soup... It was damn tasty, it had this sweet, spicy taste... haha... while keeping the beef smell there... haha... excellent broth! haha...

whoa... was listening to 'La Bamba' by Richie Valens... Not sure if you guys have heard of it before, but try this: Plug a earphone into your ear and turn on the volume till you can't hear surrounding noise when you hear the lyrics; which means, get totally absorbed into the music. Try to imagine you're back in the 70s, in this cafe-like place, will you get set off dancing? haha... Coz I suddenly had the urged to do so, I was tapping my feet away vigorously! haha...

Had my last lesson with Mr. Ku... So sad... The parting is always the saddest in any relationship... And yes, I'll definitely keep you updated after the 3 months, just remember keep a weekend slot for me!!! lol...
I was timing my Mozart sonata, and it's about 14 minutes... Not sure slow anot... Don't feel like checking Uchida's timing too, if not I'll go too crazy on speed... The most important is enjoy making music! =)
Oh... And I became so sick, I made the dynamics in my 3rd movement so rather challenging, and I ended up struggling... But well, once in a while, it's good to excite one's playing... lol... I did enjoy torturing myself. Making subito all the time... MENTALLY UNSOUND!
Went through Liszt too... Didn't complete it, perhaps he's keeping it for next time... haha... But, I rather enjoyed playing it... Technically challenging, the stamina and everything, but it was kind of fun expressing it... It seems so little that can be done, yet the music just sounds good. Whoa... How I wish my contact with music is always like that...
Mr Ku said, it's hard to find a girl with the exact interest as you... Hm... Coz he asked me 2 qns... But he seems to feel suspicious about my answers... Suit you... lol... Didn't know piano lesson can become counselling session... lol... Anyway, was glad we talked about it... He said something meaningful... Find someone to fill up the qualities you don't have... Something like that... Basically, just don't be so particular on the subject of 'interest'. And of course, don't forsake it, after all sharing the common interest is important, and at a level not far apart... This is rather true, thinking about the last r/s.
Well, see how, maybe I'll just fall in love with one of the ladies in the Conservatory in UT-A... haha... Oh yea, talking about this, zk and I agreed that it's gonna be time we find a potential wife, no more messing around... lol... See ah, finding wife and gf totally different... lol...
