Daily update:
*ARGH!!!!!!!* I give up on that damn reflection! I can't think of what to write! *bang table*... Why is it always so hard to get a proper reflection done?! Damn, I hate writing.
why, WHY?! am I so frustrated over that matter? Why is it affecting me so much?!
Wanted to get my e-sizing done, but I forgot the size of my PT shoes. Wanted to study, but either I fell alseep, or I was so distracted by the tv prog. What's wrong man?! Is it so hard to stop touching the piano for an hour, or sleep less an hour, or watch the tv less an hour, and touch the book instead?
I'm looking for Busoni's piano transcription on Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor". So if you have it, care to share? I just love that dark yet rich sound the piano produces in replacement of the organ. Of course, it'd be magical using the latter to play the piece. But I'm a pianist, not an organist. So, do let me know if any of you know where to get this piece.
Watched the closing ceremony of the Olympics 2008 just now, from 2000 - 2200hrs. Can't believe I actually sat down patiently and tolerated some of the boring scenes.
And I'm doing duty tomorrow! ARGH!
I shan't think of it anymore. shan't think of it. shan't think of it. shan't think of it. shan't think of it..............
Once again, it's the time of the week to sleep in, eat more, think less, slack more, and blog! haha... as if I have such great interest in doing so......
Rough week, this week. Return to the jungle once again, after about 4 months. I almost lost the art of surviving inside. haha... There's alot of walking. Didn't really set off with the right mindset. Wasn't really that enthusiastic about the whole activity, still I went, because it was an order. Returned to camp 2 days later with a blistered and rotten feet, and a smelly and prespiration-soaked pair of uniform. haha... Less mud this time round, still I did an hour and a half of cleaning on my stores and bag, and of course my uniform. =) *good boy*
I must have irritated her with my stupid brain-teaser question. =(
Went to Selwyn's birthday party last night, it was still alright. Just can't believe some ppl can be so thick-skinned to make you drive them home when they're really out of the way... I couldn't possibly reject them, after all they're my good friends, probably not after yesterday's encounter. I ended up returning home only 2 hours after I left the party! F***
Oh... Found out that I actually accepted NTU... haha... But I seriously don't remember accepting them. Anyway, that's good news, can stop worrying about it.
I've got this friend who always either quarrel with his gf, or scolds her so badly, even I can't take it. They're obviously not cut out for each other. But they've together for so long, too long, so long that the relationship has become more of a process that out of love. 6 years ain't that long, I'd be glad if I'm having a relationship that has lasted for 6 years. It either means, I'm doing something correct, or the girl's the one for me.
He tells me about her gf's character, rather similar to some girls I know. I can't say it's her fault that she's acting like a kid. It's his fault too. He likes to argue about every single f*** shit, has a character of a Male Chauvinistic Pig. How did they end up together in the first place. Damn!
Alright, that's his business. I'm off to mugging.
I enjoyed talking to you, and I hope I didn't irritate you with that stupid question, causing you to stop talking to me...
FINALLY! A SILVER MEDAL!
I was watching the 2nd half of the game (or rather, the 4th and 5th matches) with Edwin and some specs in the ops room. Edwin and I were shouting like crazy for at least half an hour, almost lost our voice as a result. Missed Li Jia Wei's match, both singles and doubles, coz was rushing through some work. Decided to take a break when I heard the score was 2-1 to Singapore. Was quite disappointed for the 4th match... 2-2. Wa lao... Then came the 5th match. Edwin said the south korean girl is cute! OMG! Anyway, that's besides the point. I was like staring at the TV like nobody's business. Didn't know why that sudden enthusiasm in the sport I don't know how to play. But I thought it's Singapore's chance / hope to get a medal. And, phew, thank God.
Had this route march at around 7.30pm. We started walking at 7.55pm, finished the whole march (8km) by 9.25pm. 1.5 hours. It was forced-march for the first 4km.... Then some of us couldn't tahan, so we decided to back off a little, still, a bit fast... haha... But it was a good training, after relaxing for so long in the office.
Felt damn hungry after the march, wanted to go get supper. Then I looked into the mirror, and saw the slim waist, and I told myself to forget about the supper. Anyway, eating late at night is not healthy. So I decided to sleep hungry tonight! hahaha...
Went to Yishun SAFRA for air weapon training. Kind of repetitive; thus the boredom. A couple of us decided to have lunch at Northpoint before heading back to camp. Saw many Yishun Town students, then remembered the times when we frequent the food courts for lunch. Especially when we had long breaks between papers or classes. Kind of melancholic; taking some other stuff into consideration.
Sneaked out to watch "The Mummy" on Tue. I know it's kinda late, but still, just went out to chill. Went to Ed's house, talked to his sis after education stuff, and chatted with Ed too. Didn't leave the house till quite late. Thank God I borrowed Huo Guang's car. If not.... CAB FARE!
Was quite pissed with my friend/colleague during one of the days. He gave me like plenty of reasons to hate him. I shan't elaborate, but anyway, all have settled down, so we're not quarelling anymore.
I'm gonna sleep already, shagged out mentally from the long walk... haha... And I'm taking IPPT next Friday!!!! WTF!
I hate myself for being so complacent at times.
I finished learning this Dip piece in 3 days time. Then I started to meddle around by playing damn fast without the fundamentals strong enough. After an hour of fooling around, kind of decided to slow down, and realised that the basics were lost. You see, the whole piece was written on a 4 against 3 timing, i.e. to say, 8 semiquavers to 2 sets of triplets.
My timing wasn't that synchronised. Decided to take out the metronome and go slow. Almost jumped out of the window from my room. I got so frustrated. The notes were in a mess too. Bloody pissed off.
Then remembered what Mr. Ku always tell me. Go slow. And how he told my sister I'm an impatient person.
NDP wasn't that bad. I watched the parade only, left to harass the piano after the Black Knights' stunts. So don't ask me about the fireworks, I missed it, by accident.
So wanted to revise my Bahasa Indon., but the laziness keeps kicking in. I don't have a thing for language! Like german, I always go to class, almost with nothing much retained in my brain. what a waste of time!
Seriously, can You, the highly esteemed one, reconsider about EX YL? PLEASE......................
Cut my hair today. Wanted to strangle the barber! Told him to cut No. 1 for my sides, he did it. I told him to just thin my top, not only did he give me this spiky feel, he even cut my FRINGE!!!!! I really wanted to strangle him!
Forgot that I have a Facebook account. Thought it got deleted somehow, until I saw Shi Jia adding me in Facebook; singnet account, then I realised I still have it. Thought I used my hotmail account for the Facebook account. Added a few friends. And was amazed how fast a couple of them accepted. I was thinking, do these people keep their facebook 'on', or was it pure coincidence ?
And Matt, don't feel sad if I say I don't love you! haha...
F***. Tmr morning still need to conduct morning PT. I'd better get sleeping, if not I'm gonna be late for "WORK"!
Firstly,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!
This week has been an eventful week in some ways. Many things have happened, many decisions were made; pleasant and unpleasant ones. Some have left the group, in exchange for comfort items. We have chatting till 2am the past 2 days. Climbed window latches to unlock someone else's window to get into to the room to get a TV. Other than that, life is still as boring and monotonous.
Went to watch "Money not enough 2". I'm not really a big fan of local produced movies, but since that group of friends of mine insisted I go watch, I obliged, reluctantly though. But I concluded that it was a not-so-bad show. Worth the penny if Hokkien's your kind of thing.
Wanted to watch "The Mummy". Been a big fan of the last 2 series, and found no reason to give it a miss. So, next week I'm gonna make my stand during movie nights-out.
Finally, the long-awaited sword case has reached safely at my home! I'm keeping it aside first, temporarily no space to show off that masterpiece. Gonna go shopping soon, to get some badges to add more colours to the box.
I'm sorry that such an unfortunate thing has happened to you. Look on the bright side.
Oh. I jumped into a chance to fire an air weapon. Tried both the air pistol and air rifle at the yishun safra range. Conclusion: it's not my kind of sport. haha... It's either I'm cock-eye, or something's wrong with the weapon. I choose to believe it's the latter! LOL! Tried shooting with my left hand, not bad either! haha... for a rookie, at least one out of a few rounds landed in the paper! hahaha... Hopeless case.
Learning a new piece lately, after listening to quite a wrecked version of it some night. Was studying it, and decided to try it out, yea, so...
Was surfing Felicia Chin's blog, and was trying this game, and holy shit! I jumped after this horrendous looking face appeared in the screen. And at that point of time I was blasting the speakers! And I was all alone in the office, in a raining night! Damn!
Right, gonna stop complaining.
Here's my birthday song to singapore!

Oh, in case you guys missed the Beijing Olympics Ceremony last night, it's quite overwhelming. And I fell asleep waiting for the Singapore team to appear. And by the time they came out, I was damn gorgy, and I couldn't see clearly! hahaha... S***!
Help!!! I'm freaking bored of life now. I need some extraordinary stuff to spice up my life! Left camp only at 10 plus yesterday... Have been sleeping quite late lately, around 2am... Kinda busy with something.
Went to KE's 2nd concert at Esplanade Recital Studio last sunday evening. I'm a little surprised the Principal still remembers me, and my name. haha. Oh wells. The concert was not bad, I could see the amount of effort put in. I was told to look at the concert on a non-music major point of view, and yea, that's my conclusion. But if I were to look it at a musical point of view, there's a few things to take note of. After so many times on stage, I still have lots to learn, especially from performers who just attempted to take it to the stage. To play well is to connect with the audience.
Oh, Jasmine, Hongyu and Charmaine were there. Haha... Matthew was being damn evil when Charmaine intro-ed her bf to us. oh wells. But it's good to see all of them again. And oh yea, Paris was there too. Still the same old him.
Left for dinner with Matt not long after the concert. Was looking for her to snap some shots, but she was nowhere to be found. Thought maybe she needed to entertain others, I decided to comfort my empty stomach. Matt was crazy, he made me eat this 16dollars steamboat cum bbq with him. I was hesitating for a damn long time, because I'm getting fatter, and he's making me eat so much.
Like I mentioned earlier, it's been a tiring week, pretty exhausting. So wanted to watch 'The Mummy' on Thursday, but all the preparation work smashed my dreams.
I hate people telling me how busy they are, and comparing their workloads with other people. Not seeing something doesn't mean it's non-existent. If you really think the job is too much for you to handle, fuck off, change your appointment. Don't come complaining to me how fucking busy you are, and how others are seemingly free. You have yourself to blame for not maximising your resources, and stop finding excuses. Until you've learnt to do things the right way, shut up.
Oh, thanks Si Hui for that score. Not really something I would wanna play, but still, thanks for adding to my collection.
