First book out of the year! Many to come, I strongly believe! haha...
First book out from Golf Wing too... haha... Indeed, I had a cultural shock when I got to Golf Wing... The culture's really different... I won't elaborate... No point comparing also... I'm now a Golf Wing cadet! Golf Wing the best! Hooyah!
However, I must say the mosquitoes really love Golf Wing... The bunks are infested with mosquitoes, and I haven't been sleeping well because of the attacks... Damn the mosquitoes... I'm gonna bring in something in the next book in, and they're gonna regret big time!
This week has been a rather hectic week... 2 SOCs, 10km run, and many many lessons... Muscles aching like mad...
My leg got really pain during the 10km run... But I managed to complete it in 51 mins... Went to the MO the next day (Thursday) because the pain was unbearable... He gave me only paracetemol... WHAT THE HELL?! But I still took it to suppress the pain... But the pain still kept on coming... Wanted to do SOC that very evening, but was worried I couldn't make it... Still went though... Got through! haha... But now, the pain shifted to the ankle area... And I was practically limping... Again, I swallowed the painkillers according to the dosage... Skipped the cadence run the next morning, and the games, because I couldn't walk at all... Decided against going to the MO again because of an important lesson... Became so desperate when Kenny brought out this cream for me... Haha... Thanks man! I applied quite a thick layer on my painful area... Got better a little the next morning (this morning), so I did SOC test, and I passed! haha... So NO MORE SOC for me ANYMORE!!! haha...
Oh, I'm involved in the initiating ceremony for the junior cadets, 70/07 OCC... Looking at them, can't help reminding myself 3 months ago, the same way I reacted to the life in OCS... haha... Memories...
Come Monday, it'll be an exciting morning! haha... Don't ask me further questions of what is to come... haha... just enjoy whatever is planned out for you guys, can?! hehe...
I think it's only polite if you thank someone for helping you... be it lending you a hand or even answering your question to solve a problem... So that the person feels that his help is being appreciated... Just that little 'thank you' will make a difference.
